Hello Woodstock Baseball Families!
Happy Holidays. As the snow is settling in, most of you are locked in on winter sports. At Woodstock Area Youth Baseball and Sports we are actually starting to prepare for spring and the next baseball season.
First off–thank you for all your support and your trust over the years. We had another great baseball season last year and it’s really due to you and your support of our non profit. Please see our list of our 2025 accomplishments.
In 2026 and 2027 we will continue our mission to partner with the Woodstock Rec to improve the baseball experience for our tee ball, rookies, 10U and 12U spring teams. We will continue to partner with Twin River Baseball (our Cal Ripken League and summer organization) in order to improve our need for competitive summer baseball. And will continue our mission to improve the Vail Field baseball experience. Here is our vision for 2026/2027.
During Covid, John Malcom and I had a vision for Vail Field–which had fallen into disrepair. We came to the Rec, our community and the Woodstock Economic Development Commission (EDC) with a two year plan and you responded with enthusiasm and donations. 6 years later, Vail Field continues to be the preeminent baseball field in the Upper Valley. We continue to rely on volunteerism and fund raising to keep the Field looking great and the kids engaged with the sport of youth baseball.
Lastly we want to appreciate and highlight our fantastic partnership with the Woodstock Rec. With the support of Joel Carey and Gail Devine we have found a fantastic partner helping to spearhead the care of Vail Field and while working tirelessly on spring scheduling and coordinating the entire spring baseball program. We appreciate their work within the community.
We know there are many non profits to support in our great community. THANK YOU for considering supporting Woodstock Youth Baseball.
We will be sending out notes in January about baseball signups. Stay tuned for those.
